Tripping of Generators for Downstream Feeder Earth faults

Nirmex is one of the Grey Cement Production unit owned by Nirma Limited in Nimbol Village, Jaitaran Dist., Rajasthan. Plant has in-house thermal based generator of 33MW and a WHRS of 8MW Generating Power at 11kV.  Plant is also having the local utility power support at 132kV from RSEB. Plant was facing problem of frequent blackouts mainly for 11kV network earthfaults in downstream network.Client approached EEPL with their above problem. EEPL suggested to carry out the Power System Study and Relay Coordination of the plant. Case of JIFCO, Jordan

IFFCO and Jordan Phosphates Mines Company Ltd (JPMC), Jordan had formed a Limited Liability Joint Venture Company, namely Jordan India Fertiliser Company (JIFCO) in Eshidiya, Amman, Jordan. Plant has in-house thermal based generation of 30MW at 11kV through STG.  Mill is also having the local utility power support at 33kV from NEPCO. AV Cell is one of the Pulp Fibre mill owned by Aditya Vikram group in AtholVille, NB, Canada. Plant has in-house thermal based generation of 20MW at 13.8kV through Contra Rotating type Turbine.  Mill is also having the local utility power support at 138kV from Hydro Quebec and NB, Power. Mill had all electromagnetic type of protective relays of Westinghouse Make.
